Hey friends,

I had something unexpected happen. As I was reflecting on what I was giving up for Lent, I discovered the answer was forced on me. I was giving up my eyesight, at least for a season, for my right eye. A suddenly detached retina, led me to an emergency surgery and long projected recovery.

I just thought I’d share a few comments via youtube since I can’t really see too well with my one “good eye” that also had laser surgery that same day.

Let’s align around a VISION for a better Bethany, engaging with our neighbors around us more, demonstrating the love of Christ to the people we have been overlooking… you know, the people ALL around us in our neighborhood!
